Christy Cohen

Greetings! My name is Christy. I’m a screenwriter and songwriter who was born, raised, and still currently resides in Southern California.

I worked for several years in animation production, starting out as a production intern (while I was an undergrad at UCLA) and moving up over the years as a production assistant, production coordinator, then production manager.

In 2019, I went back to UCLA for their Professional Program in Screenwriting and I’ve been writing ever since. I also took on their Directing program in 2023 so I’ll probably attempt more DIY filmmaking in the future as well.

Fun facts: I love cats, baking, and I also occasionally work as an illustrator.
